Welcome to Lambeth Skip Hire. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before hiring a skip from us.
1. Definitions
- Company: Lambeth Skip Hire.
- Customer: Any individual or entity hiring a skip from the Company.
- Skip: The container provided for waste collection.
2. Booking and Reservations
To reserve a skip, customers must provide accurate information regarding the size and duration of hire. Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
2.1 Payment Terms
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and bank transfers. All prices are quoted in GBP and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
2.2 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours may incur a cancellation fee as outlined in our pricing policy.
3. Delivery and Collection
Our team will deliver the skip to the specified location and collect it upon completion of the hire period. Customers must ensure that the placement area is accessible and safe for the skip to be delivered and collected.
3.1 Access Requirements
The site must allow for the safe delivery and removal of the skip without obstruction. The customer is responsible for ensuring that driveways, roads, and other access points are clear.
3.2 Timeframes
Delivery and collection times are estimates. While we strive to adhere to agreed schedules, delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances.
4. Use of the Skip
The skip provided is for the disposal of general waste only. It must not be used for hazardous, toxic, or prohibited materials.
- Allowed items: Household waste, garden waste, construction debris.
- Prohibited items: Asbestos, batteries, chemicals, electronic waste.
4.1 Prohibited Waste
Customers must not place the following items in the skip:
- Hazardous materials
- Flammable substances
- Chemicals
- Electronic waste
Improper disposal of prohibited waste may result in additional charges and legal action.
5. Customer Obligations
Customers are responsible for the following:
- Providing accurate delivery information.
- Ensuring the skip is placed in an appropriate location.
- Loading the skip in a safe and manner.
- Complying with local waste disposal regulations.
6. Liability
Lambeth Skip Hire is not liable for any damage to property or injury caused by the skip once it has been delivered to the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure safe placement and use of the skip.
6.1 Insurance
Customers are advised to hold adequate insurance coverage for any potential damages or liabilities arising from the use of the skip.
7. Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9. Amendments
Lambeth Skip Hire reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes.
10. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By hiring a skip from Lambeth Skip Hire, customers acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
